as it says above the tail on my 450 sport is kind of shuddering, its not consistant its almost like a pulse, ive tried up and down with the gain from 55% up to 70% but it isnt making any difference
any ideas anyone
The tail on my 450 sport was shuddering to differing degrees at different head speeds. It turned out to be a slightly bent mainshaft. I have no idea how it got bent as I'd recently installed it and not had a crash, but as soon as I replaced it again the judder went away.
Hope this helps,
cheers,
Mick

Are you main blades balanced and blade tracking all ok? I have had a shuddering tail on my 450 sport when they were out.
well my blades are only cheapo glass fibre ones as i didnt want to keep breaking good ones but i did take the time to balance them, tracking seems pretty good but will check again, i spose i could put my align carbon ones on temporarilly to see if it cures it
Check your gyro loom as well. I had a sllight kick on my Trex 500 a while ago, turned out the loom from my gyro (Quark) had chafed a bit and the conductor was touching the carbon fibre frame. Got it repaired and all works fine now. Worth a look anyway!
