Well got all the bits needed to fly or so i thought after shelling out over £700 (not including the price for my two helis ) on bits and pieces, thought i would charge up my 4 nice new hyperion 3s 45c 2200mAh on my nice new imax quatro charger but the balance plugs only fit into the 4s sockets on the supplied balance boards!, looks like i have a 4s balance plug on my 3s lipos the 3rd cell wire goes straight into the 4 pin and the 3 pin is empty :-(

But i did manage a hover for a minute on my beam in the garden yesterday to check if it was set up right, so still happy about that, the lipos came with 40 percent charge in them all according to my little battery checker, not sure if its the right thing to do, use a new battery straight away without charging it first but i only took it down to 33 percent, someone will no doubt let me know :-)

I have posted in the battery part of this forum so hopfuly i will find out whats going on, just seems a up hill struggle for a beginer with little knowlage, with all the building, soldering, sticking, trying to squeeze all the electronics into a 450 neatly ( how you 250 guys do it ) and charging batteries, the flying part is the easy bit :-)

Thanks, my garden isn't the biggest, can't wait to get out to a field with good weather and four fully charged batteries :-)

And thanks again for posting those.
