  • Blade tracking..

Quick question...im setting up the gyro on my trex (its a cheap one so not easy...yes will go for a 401 when funds allow) any how, i thought i had the tracking prity much spot on. When i came back from my holiday and to work on the set up I found the tracking well out, the only differance is the blade grips seemed loose.

Will loose blade grips send the tracking out or do i need to re visit my set up

    Oh its a trex 450 S btw

    thanks in advance

They should be pretty tightly fitted to the feathering spindle. Loose blade grips will send your blade tracking out, yes.

If they were ok, and now are not, check the blade grip internals, and the bearings in there too. Also check the feathering spindle is not bent.

    Cheers,

      My trex tracking goes out.
It's slop in the bearings in my case and I haven't got around the changing them. Check the bearings are snug to the grips and the shaft.

        cheers guys.

I'll go mad if somethings bent as it means someones been messing with it.
