Have you got the head speed high enough ?, these little beasties are pretty twitchy, but that are much better with a high headspeed.

Not sure what mines at exactly, but I'd guess at least 2500 (my throttle curve in idle up is at 90%, "curve" is the wrong word, as it's a straight line .

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

im guessing its set about 1600-1800 RPM not that sure but not amazingly high, i think i need to set it up a little more tbh, also its the fact when i took it up high i lost what way it was going as there so small and got into a bit of a tangle for a few seconds and i feel that its going to happen tbh with you i just need to grow some balls lol but at the same time its still a crash virgin

they do fly very nicely for a little bird, however they are also very twitchy.

lifting the headspeed would probably help like JaneK I run mine in idleup almost flat line.

Although mine is probably not a good example as its been dumped so many times. LOL. as soon as i stop keep crashing ill get a V2.

You've discovered the serious disadvantage of a Trex450, they get VERY small, VERY quickly. The trick is to keep it closer

Get that headspeed up, it'll change the feel of the beasty a great deal, 1800 is way too low, it'll be nodding its way round the sky and the controls will be unresponsive. Aim for at least 2000+ at hover point, and if you've got as far as using idle up, use a straight line throttle curve.

Takes a while to get used to the little buzz saw, particularly when you have it close, but you'll quickly feel the difference in control response.

When going well the 450's are so much fun.

I don't think ive laughed as much for ages as when the weekend before last 2 friends and myself were chasing 450's around the same patch of sky.
