walkera 22 e problems
hi
i have this heli which is a bit dated but has been lying hidden away for some time . i have decided to fix it and now i have this problem.
powering tail motor with brushless main motor on rx 2604 22e
I really need help in setting up the tail motor. I have searched the forums and tried many different set ups but still cannot power the tail motor and control it with the Tx.
I have brushless main motor on my 22e that works fine with its own ESC that is connected to the battery and the to the rx 2604 in the 4th channel.
My problems lies in how to connect the tail motor. I connected it directly to the battery with a y- harness that connects the battery to the brushless ESC and the tail motor but it just spins continuously and has effect from the Tx.
I then y-harness the original brushed and Brushless ESC to the battery and connected the brushless motor to accordingly and plugged that into channel 4 and then from the brushed ESC powered the tail motor and from the tail motor connection and plugged the orange wire into the Rx where it says tail motor. that doesnt work the tail motor.
I did the same again but this time , powered the tail motor with the power from the brushed ESC that was meant for the original brushed motor and took thits corresponding wire from the brushed ESC into the main motor connection on the RX. that doesnt work too.
Im now stuck in a rut and dont know how power the stock tail motor and control its speed. PLEASE HELP.
Im a newbie to this hobby and would appreciate help please.
I wouldnt mind calling anyone to help me discuss how to setup my heli.
