  • Turnigy lipo to Turnigy Accucel

    Hi everyone,

I have a couple of Turnigy 3000mAh lipos that I want to charge with my Turnigy Accucel 6. I want to balance charge but cannot find the correct lead to go from the bullet connectors on the lipo to the charger. Does everyone make up their own, I would have expected to have seen some on eBay but have looked for around 4 hours now and found nothing. Similarly Google has not helped.

Am I pushing it to use the Accucel 6 to charge these lipos and should I look at a better charger - if so can you please recommend one.

    Many thanks.

The accucel 6 comes with some croc clips that you can clip onto your bullet connectors. A bit dodgy as it is possible to short out. Failing that, snip off the supplied connectors and solder on your own to safely connect to your lipo.

Yeah you'll need to make one up. The negative will need a male on one end and female on the other, and the positive will need male on both ends.

Thanks so much for your replies. In the end I managed to find a lead on eBay. It goes from the 4mm bullet connectors to an EC3 male which then connects directly to the supplied lead with the Accucel 6. It seems to do the job.
