Kudos loz, great to see you are making progress. I'm torn between keeping the training gear on and taking it off. Either way I'm crashing...

Done 2 batts last night and still helis in one peice so I'm pleased about that, won't b taking my tg off for a while yet til I'm confident anyway, as for taking yrs off why not do it gradually i.e. start to shorten the rods by a couple of inches at a time for next couple of weeks

        Well done Loz mate,
Just remember that the ground is the enemy....well until your battery gets low, then it becomes your best friend again!

People used to say to me height is ur friend, yeah right not when it scares the crap out of u when the Heli goes above 2ft and dumb thumbs set in.

Just keep practising the hover and it will soon lead to side on and then no training gear, then the world is at your feet

Skids at head height is where you need to be practicing.
