  • trex 450 sport tail question

im having problems setting tail up on my sport and have come to notice i have quite alot of play from bearings and the screws that join blade holders to slider, so my question is how much play is acceptable as my one seems to be very sloppy for something that i would imagine has to be pretty much bang on.

Just checked my Pro which uses the same tail grips and it does have a little bit of play in each grip. My guess is this play gets cancelled out when the heli spools up due to centrigugal force (or something clever sounding like that). Lol.

Yeah that is def too much! Have you taken the blade grips off? Perhaps the small bearings are shot?
