Lee, I normally fly around after everyone has left the workshops. Nice remote spot near the plain - about 20km south from Devizes.

Dan - if you have any issues with the DX6i or initial set-up just give me a shout. Sometimes a picture paints a thousand words......

Hi Dan, it looks like Fast Lad have got some stock, but a few quid more than you found them for - depends how much you want one lol.
You might find that when postage goes on there aint much difference in price.

Well all my kit arrived today and already crashed about 5 times

Still trying to trim it atm.

Never actually realised how much they go left on take off, very different from coax.

I got 4 batteries so its time to practice practice practice, cheers for the help all.

What state should i leave the lipos in? Empty/full? All 4 have been charged and discharged (with use) once.

Its not as easy as it looks this flying malarky, i can hover for a bit (20-30 seconds) then i kinda loose concentration and it goes anywhere. Also when i use the rudder i swear the swash plates move.

Hi Dan, having fun I guess - 2 things about lipos
                    1. Let them cool before you charge them.
                    2. Leave them charged about 50% if your not going to use them for a while. ( I guess in your case 100% cos it will be tomoz lol)
If you're having bother with the hover (lol poet and I don't know it) try getting a bit higher - until you get about 750mm up you are in backwash and it will be unstable.
Don't worry too much about crashing msr's they are tough as old boots.
Swash does move with rudder slightly - any doubt try resetting it with the swash tool.
I'll send you a link to a good video to watch in a mo.

ps DON'T try and trim the left movement out on lift off, its normal reaction to the tail rotor - if you do once you get up it will go right. Do your trimming by finding out what is going on 750mm up then trim.

Well im enjoying this little heli think i need more batteries, 4 aint enough!!!

Broke one of the little arms which hold on the canopy though I got a little carried away and chopped the throttle from ceiling height.

I know im getting ahead of myself but i've seen a 2nd hand t-rex 450 sport for sale near me and im thinking of purchasing for a later date, just polish it for time being the msr scares me still so a long way off yet.
