hi everyone, i am new to helis and i have a problem and wonder if anyone has any ideas how to solve it or what the prob is.

i have a raptor 30 v2 with a futaba 6ex, it was working fine up to today, i went to start it & it starts and runs full throttle even though carb is at closed & the engine cut button wont stop it, only way to stop it is to pull the fuel pipe off.

if anyone has any ideas on what the prob might be or how to cure it i b most greatful, any ideas will be most welcome,

    thanks

      Hi,

First thing to do is check your radio is working fine, if it is check your carb to make sure the throttle arm has not come loose. Sometimes the arm will come loose and even though everything is working and the throttle servo/linkage etc is showing low throttle position the carb will be fully open.

      Hope that helps!
      Thanks!

I am NOT a nitro man, but will try and help ....

How do you know that the throttle is closed? can you see that it is physically closed? if not then I suspect that something has come loose (throttle linkage arm etc). If it IS closed then it may be sucking a LOT of air from elsewhere ... is the carb tight? .....

        Good Luck!

You might try checking that the throttle servo has not become reversed by mistake i·ve had it happen to me in the past
