  • Need to gen up....recommend a good book?

Right guys, from previous responses to my posts, it seems i need to grasp the basics of RC helicopters before i bore you all with my extremely novice questions...

Is there any recommended literature out there that will help?

    Cheers, Dan

No problem m8 pleasure to be able to help another newbie. Only thing I would say about that site is that once you get to cp helis I would be more inclined to go for the TRex or TRex clone route, while the blade 400/450 is good the alternatives are better and building yourself gives you a better ability to fix them when you crash - which we all do; even the best of us do that! I read & would recommend 'flying model helicopters' by Dave Day. It's a little dated, but it has the basics right through to advanced stuff.

                I found it informative.
