Tail wiggling.....?

Hello all,

Probably a very simple question to answer for the experienced RC'rs amongst you, but for me - Im stumped.

Bought a ESKY HB2, got it home flew it, thought i was beginning to get the hang of it when i crashed it. It wasnt a bad crash - but since then the tail vibrates erratically once it begins to lift off the training gear. (Could it be the training gear?)

I have tried adjusting the gain/proportion, but it doesnt seem to do anything. Visually i cannot see anything that has been broken and on ground all flying contraols are intact and working.

Any help very much appreciated.

1st thing I'd check for is friction in the linkages.

Pop the link off the servo and move it, if it's hard to move the tail blades, then that's the prob, find out where along the line the friction is and sort it then try again.

try and change the gyro pad and also strap the gyro down and see if that helps

I would say it's something a bit more basic than that. Check your tail output shaft for being bent and your main shaft, They are only 2 or 3mm in diameter and don't survive crashes very well.

Tail shaft or tail hub I recon
