balancing blades

hi there,iv done a search and have found some info,but cant find if you balance them as they are on the heli,ie take them off and bolt them together with one edge up and one down,or do you do them both facing up or down,also when you have run out of tape what do you use,

Start by balancing them off the heli, as a pair. If you've run out of tape, then they're seriously out-of-kilter, and you should seriously reconsider their use.

Not all blades need balancing but it doesn't hurt to check all blades.

hi there,because id only damaged one of the blades,i bought 2 but only changed one,i tried to balance them and they were a mile out,iv just put the two new ones together,balanced them and i didnt need any tape,
might fly a bit better now

Always use blades as a matched pair out of the packet. Balancing blades is just very fine-tune, not major reconstruction.

I used to use the left over clear stuff that comes with the stickers for your canopy, its very sticky and clear.

I use insulation tape - I like to see the stripes in the air!
