  • Simulators??

Over the last few days ive been looking over the forum's and i have noticed that most people do actually advise to buy a flight simulator before actually trying to fly an r/c helicopter. As i do not want to smash my helicopter up i am after the best simulator software you can get. does anyone know what is the best software to train on? and most of all do you need anything else for a simulator too work ie a joystick of some sort. if yes, where do you get these from?
If you ain't got nothin nice to say. Don't say Nothin!

XTR set the standard in the latest generation of simulators. Now Phoenix sim has hit the market and its breaking not only very keen on price but about as good as it gets in terms of realism.

Here the link to the site and where you can buy.

You will need a transmitter to go with it otherwise your stuck, but its worth getting a half decent one from the get go.....DX7 or 6EX

Is there a demo for Phoenix? I bought Realflight 3.5 without much research into it and it's very flakey, switching airfield or aircraft will cause my PC to crash 1 in 5 times. Rather annoying.
