It won't stay dead still anyway but maybe add a little forward elevator trim and right cyclic (aileron) trim with the trim sliders on your tranny.
Is your swash plate dead level when you have heli on a table and switched on.
If it is level then it should be just a bit of trim adjustment on the tranny.
If not level then adjust the servo rods to get it level.
Any experienced flyers near you who can help out, otherwise take it to a model shop to sort out for you. Worth a few quid to get setup correctly and avoid an expensive crash.

are you not just in normal rate mode instead of headinghold? Have you set some pitch against the torque of the motor to keep the tail of the model straight? Make sure your in heading hold mode.

Firstly make sure your swash plate is level.

However, Its quite normal for the heli to slide to the left a little when lifting off due to the thrust from the tail rotor, and this normally settles down once the heli has gained a little height. (Most helis will lean a little to the right once up in a hover) Just use a little right aileron on lift off. The quicker you get the heli airborne the less you will need to do this.

If its constantly drifting backwards, a little forward elevator trim should help. You might also try lengthening the elevator servo link slightly.
Don't expect it to hold a solid hands off hover like a coaxial heli though, cos it wont.

Presuming you rebuilt the tail, it depends on a number of details about how you put it back together compared to how it was before. Is the tail rotor still turning the same way? Are the control arms on the same side? Is the servo on the same side of the boom? Is the pushrod connecting to the same side of the servo horn? And so on.
