honeybee fp

I've just got a second hand honeybee fp for my son,when I plug in the battery there seems to be no power getting to the servo's,ANY IDEA'S

Things to check....

Esc fires up
Rx receiving a signal
Battery charged
Tx batteries ok
Motor spins,
its a not vague what you say, I don't know the honeybee as never had one, these are just common sense things to check

this is going back a while, but on the side of the controller unit are a couple of lights, are these (a) on and (b) are they flashing or solid?
