    hello all
I am not entirely new to this hobby as about 6 years ago I bought a second hand humming bird FP clone from e-bay,
it had a few hovers but it was poorly setup and vibrated allot. My brother got a Blade MCX which I liked so I bought a
Blade CX2 second hand from e-bay,which was poorly setup and very erratic, I fixed the seperated swashplate and things went well,
then I got a Blade MSR which is a real blast. I also use sims which I enjoy and as crashes dont cost money on a sim
I have had sucessfull 3d flights with loops, rolls, stall turns and inverted cutting of the grass.
I want to take the leap to CP helis now and my choices are blade 400/belt CP/trex 450 clone and a DX6i TX.
so thats where I am at for the mement, actively seeking my first CP heli,
I was very tempted to get the Blade MCPX but I want to try a slightly bigger heli.

    Welcome to the forum.
Yeah the small CP heli's are not ideal for a first real heli, the Blade or 450 would be a lot better, more stable and easier to learn on.

Also a good sim like Phoenix would help 100%

      Welcome aboard!

I think you're ready for a 450 size heli, sounds like you have had a bit of practice already!

I recommend a Trex 450 sport (best option) or a Blade 400 to get going. Take your time setting them up and invest in a swashplate leveller, one of the key things to flying well is in the set-up of the heli .
