Welcome.
I am about 6 weeks in. I have bought a Blade CX3 which is a co-axial. I tried to fly it outside, which was a mistake. It landed on the roof and I had to get it down by climbing on some ladders. It is very Fragile and already I have spent close to £20 on ordering the parts that I have broken on it. The CX3 is now in pieces and I am replacing another part on it. Taking it apart I saw as a good learning curve. I also bought a Thunder Tiger Screwdriver set (£20) to helps me along.
I have been to the local flying club, I dont have anything serious to fly there, so I went to spectate.
I also fly alot on Phoenix, which I find very addictive.
I cant wait to fix my CX3 up and take it outside. Hopefully I wont crash it this time.
I have a boxed up Blade 400, which I dont have the bottle to fly it yet. maybe another 2-3 weeks.
Lots of fun to be had!

. Never used training balls and just got on and learned... on the sim and for real. That was 2007, nowadays there are loads of great relatively cheap electric helis that are far more stable and reliable with much better tails.
