  • 1st indoor heli

For Fathers day I got a micro heli a PicoZ Micro Helicopter from firebox while it has been good fun. Apart from going up and down it basicly goes where it wants to.

Now I think I might have been bitten by the bug which I know could end up being expenisve, but I would like some thing that I can fly indoors. I have looked around and found these.

    Robins 22 or Honey Bee

which one should I go for or is there a heli that wold be better

get an easy copter V2 Lux, at the bottom of this page.

the contrarotating helis are by far the best flying indoor helis easily flyable in a reasonably sized front room unlike most micros that really need a sports hall

out of the 2 you selected a robins 22 is a good choice and you'll have lots of fun with it. the honey bee u will find hard to controll and will end up costing u more than its worth

would these be ok for flying indoors? Our living room is about 16ft square.

The other option is what I think is called Micro helicopters. The Micron CX

Looks good, a lot more money but could it be a better buy in the long run?

My advise would be to get one of these on offer from here
          http://www.alshobbies.com/shop/looku...sc=ROBINS%2022
and get your spares & batteries here
          http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ESKY-LAMA-V3-P...QQcmdZViewItem
The esky gear to me tends to be a little beter quality than some of the others and the parts are cheaper,
If you find you want to go further after this buy a copy of the Phoenix RC simulator its very good and will give you some idea what the bigger models handle like

Almost forgot the postage on the one from als is 9 quid making a total of 79 quid to be able to fly

You can now buy, (for around the same money) a counter rotating heli based on 2.4ghz transmitter, much better if you intend flying anywhere where there are likey to be several flyers. (frequency clashes)
