Hello, I a Newbie, I bought a heli the middle of January not knowing sod all about anything to do with heli's, I have been out to night and flown my 7th and 8th tank ever.
I can get my Raptor to hover but have a problem that I cant figure out.
The nose turns very slowly to the left no input on rudder
Raptor 30v2 39tt DX8 TX
Gyro gy401 s9254 tail servo mounted on tail boom
Tried a mechanical set-up the 4.5mm gap tail (Raptor technique)
I have tried to hover in Rate(normal) mode but find myself over compensating the rudder and if it turn towards me put it back down, but when i did keep in straight it's only about 3 clicks(left) on the trim to keep it straight or so I think, As only new at this I have not got the confidence to even let the tail go more than 90 degrees.
I have centred trim and re initialized the Gyro. Then played with Gyro rates from 20% to 90% but made on difference the nose still turns to the left very slowly.
Cant see any binding in linkages and all free and move smoothly
But I have noticed tonight the clutch seem to grinding a little would this cause vibration and confuse the Gyro.....It going to have to be looked at/replaced anyway, got to figure out how to do that as well.
Cheers
