Need abit of help getting started!!!

Hey, I brought a Easycopter V2 wanting to restore it. I posted a thread at Modelsport fourm in the air section. A guy Pm'em me saying he had one spare that he would sell me for £35 posted RTF. I agreed. Its now in the post and i brought myself a simulator (pre-Flight its a auzzie one). I've come across the BMFA. Would i need to join as i'm flying in a park? I'll get pics of my heli when its up

You will want to get insurance if you are flying in a public park and joining the BMFA is one way to do that.

You will also need to check if flying is allowed in the particular park.

went to the rangers base, they said aslong as it dosent affect any birds or wildlife then yes its fine. And if a member of the public tell you to move show them this card which they gave me explaining the rules
