Yo G....you must have burnt the midnight lamp to post that so quickly
Love the soundtrack and your editing skills are top notch.

Thanks for the input and encouragement that got me to my first proper hover.
The ridiculous grin at the end says it all.

Thanks to Trillian for moral supprt and a new tail servo

I have to confess that I also managed to get too cocky on the 3rd hover and binned it....but hey 2 out of 3 aint bad.

I have to get a new main shaft and fit my new tail servo and I hope to have another bash at helicoptering very soon.

Well done on getting into the hover.
I remember when i first managed it and the feeling of achievement is brilliant.

As a fairly new flyer myself and am trying to master nose in now. can do it quite comnfortably on the sim but real life seems to be a little more difficult to master.

I know wonder what all the fuss about learning how to hover! so keep going, dont give up and you'll have it nailed soon.

      Well done, and keep smiling

That was very good for a first hover, I remember bouncing around on the training legs like a frog on my first hover, then the legs dug in and it flipped over.
          What heli is it?
450's are great and the reason why im in this hobby anything bigger is very very costly for me.

          Well done by the way

Hi Si..........its an HK Clone.....thats all I can tell you really.
The canopy is PLASTIC!!!!!!! But it looks like a Rappy shape and apart from being plastic looks quite cool.
Tail servo is a bit naff and needs constant correction but I got a better one from Trillian yesterday and I will be fitting that at the weekend.

I have Graham Tiddler to thank massively for helping me get the heli in the air.
We had to move wiring around and set the servos.......or should I say HE moved stuff and I just watched and hopefully learnt a little.
Looking forward to the next Hover.........ChickenHawk out>>>>>
