as some may no i have a raptor 30 i am still waiting to fly. i also have a blade sr120 but find this gives the rong inpresion so my question is what electric outdoor heli would be a good investment? somthing that will do the same as my raptor when i get around to getting it set up. i just want it for hovering and small low flight curcits but more so i want a heli that will do the same as the raptor.. the cheper the better somthing i can aford 2 or 3 lipos...so 3c maybe??

Both MT & pro are very good heli's but price & parts has to be the pro.Today's outlook is fine for flying.- Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.

In the time I've had mine I've ugraded to: torque tube, Align links, Align main gear, Align pro tail blade grip assy, Align main blades, Beastx & now playing with couple of fbl heads to see which is best suited one of them Align!Today's outlook is fine for flying.- Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.

My Vbar logo 400 in for sale and now on ebay might work well for you. Its very stable in the wind being FBL, i dont think a 450 trex would give you anywhere near as stable a flight as a raptor 30!!
Its RTF just bind it up. Lipos are quite cheap from hobbyking, and theres loads of crash repairs included!!!
Flybarless will give you a lot of confidence, but its a 500 size machine, and carries higher crash repair costs than a 450.Comment
