  • Heading Hold Gyro

    Hi all, I’m looking for a heading hold gyro for my eco 8,
    has any one got any suggestions for which gyro to use
    not what to do with the eco 8

              on the eco8 i would ude a 401 with the 9650.

              by far the easiest to setup and best perofrmer for the money.

                also if your after a cheap tail servo use one of these

                    i wouldnt use that servo on the tail of an eco8 (or anything for that matter)...

                    to get the best from your gyro you need a digital servo with a coreless motor. anything else will be a pain to get setup right and even then not perform very well.

                      i have got this on the tail of my eco and it works a treat
                      ok so its not digital and its cheap but i cant afford 60 notes for a 9650 and if you look at the specs the supertech is a damn site faster

                      Ade if you havent got anything useful to say then

                      SHUT IT for a change

                        Cali, I have lots of experience with rubbish servos on helis. can you say the same of good servos on helis?

                        no offence meant or taken just passing on my experience.

                            9254 is a bit heavy for the ECO8 and its more expensive. hence suggesting the 9650

                              Yeah its the new tail servo that will be shipped with the 401 as well as the 9254 so there will be 2 versions available
