  • got myself a blade 400 .. what spares ???

    well at last i managed to get hold of a blade 400 for £150 flown twice excelent condition :0) .. now been practicing on phoenix all week but should i wait to purchase some traing gear (sticks and pingpong balls) or go for it ...?
    i have a msr i can fly but this is first collective pitch .. also what sort of spares people would recomend me gettin ?

    as for the spares get some main blades, main shafts, feathering shafts, booms, flybars, maybe a main gear. These are the usual things to go in a crash

      Agree with above list but if you have the stock servos then order a few spare gears sets as well. Keep an eye on the esc if it's stock as they can overheat.

        dont even think about trying it without the training gear!!!!!. i used the one for the twister 3d storm from jperkins distribution. strong, and easy clip on/off. just make sure the legs are tight in the centre block. landing gear strut sets also broke on two of my five spills. add them to the bits mentioned above. hitec hs 65hb's are a really good servo upgrade, and not to expensive at around £15 each. changing servo gears is a bit irritating. as the heli was cheap i would do the servos now
