The other thing is, there are lots of outsize tailfins out there that are 10mm-20mm bigger than standard, and will protect the tail.

    My 2p's worth.
I'd not considered a larger tail fin. Shouldn't be hard to make one with a flat piece of carbon fibre sheet.

Does anybody have a link on where to buy? Wings, Wheels & Rotors are out of stock, and with other places there seems to be a large price variation, and most places do not seem to stock the Super Combo package.

If I bought just the basic kit, any recommendations on what servos, gyro etc would do the job? I assume it takes micro servos all round (what about tail?). Thanks for any help.
We are waiting for the next delivery coming in Mid Feb,
          cyclic servo
          digital metal gear micro size
          tail servo
          digital, mini size
          gyro
phoenixtech GT90, GT500, or spartan ds760, csm420e are the gyros we have tried so far and they all work, (ps GT500 not suitable for hard 3d)

we are currently testing the TT360 with 5 and 6 cell lipo setup. will give more infomation about motor, esc, pinion combonation later. Just hope the snow stop and have some nice weather.

            Lol, their nothing like that.

There's a lot of misconception about these helis and they most certainly don't fly themselves They need to be flown just like any other heli.
There is no electronic stabilization, no on board computer to do it for you. Their just a well designed and very stable platform from which you can develop your skills. Great for a novice

Mini Titan E325 is a great Heli to start out on, don't knock it just because it's not all bling bling.

Very stable Heli over a Trex 450 or clone any day.

Hi, thanks for the input. That seems like a long time before stock arrives. That gives me an uneasy feeling about spares etc. Is there a particular reason for this? Thanks

first, spare parts allways available in uk warehouse, we always ship spare with kit everytime we lanuch a new heli. that's our policy.

second, due to chinese new year in 20days time, factory(across china) always have their order fully booked, so this kind of situation only happan during Jan and Feb every year. we always have stock coming once a month during other months.

we will make sure people who bought our TT360 always have spare available, if we don't, we will break a kit to get the parts for you, if we run out of kit, we will break our demo heli to get the parts for you. if we run out of demo heli, we can get the part made in uk for you.

                    cheers

Hi Vtnutter,What a name, anyway I have just been out flying mine,I am only a sports flyer but it flies very well, for close in hover I use about 2250rpm but if you start flying ciruits stall turns etc up the speed to over 2500 as below this it wobbles, great heli.Regarding spares Andy nearly always has them in stock, the one I required when not in stock came off his demo machine, also remember Andy is always on here and replies to e-mails,and as stated by some one on here if its good enough for Dave Fisher,I am sure its more than better for us mere mortals.
                      Hope this helps you.
                      Yours,
                      Marty.

My vote goes for a Mini Titan. By brother had both a Trex 450X and Trex 450 SE. I bought a Mini Titan SE and gave him my old Mini Titan. He loves it so much more than the Trex 450.

I have a trex 450, flasher 500 and when I do get a new Heli it's going to be the tt360, never seen it fly for real ( apart from videos), just love the idea of using 3/4/5/6 cells in a Heli and for the money it seems good.

As said before a 450 / 500 would be your next step forward, just buy right 1st time (recommendations from people who fly the helis are the best way) or you could end up wasting money
