  • Carbon blades?

    Hi all,

I have been told many times that i should be using carbon blades instead of the woodies on my b400.
So i started looking today and there are so many different options.
There are carbon blades on ebay for as little as 5 quid a pair but there are also carbon blades for as much as 50 quid and every price in between. So whats the difference?
what makes a 50 quid pair any better than a 5 quid pair if they are both carbon?

Before you do go for the Align 325 woody's there the red ones capable of light 3D tenner pair so worth giving a go first.
Im 3D flyer & only use them on my B400.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

The reason i am after carbon blades is because the covering keeps coming off the wooden ones when they take the smallest knock

When i was learning on my blade 400 and got my first pair of carbons i went for some twister 325mm black carbon weave blades about £23. They were very good and improved flight alot! The reason for getting these was because they were sources localy and you dont have to shim the blades like the align ones!! The blade grips are alot wider than the align ones!!
I think 315mm torsion blades would fit. But im now using align 325mm carbons on my trex 450pro, sab 320mm red devils are some very awsome blades, worth getting when you star acrobatics!! Wider cord, feeling of lightness, more cyclic response, more lift power!!!
