Im glad to hear we're back on track with the engine
I have had a similar problem myself with an OS70 new out of the box with the crank not seated in the bearings properly :roll:
As for the fuel, I think there is a shelf life of sorts on it yes, I have known coolpower go bad in a matter of about 6 or 8 months before now, causing the engine to run like a bag of spanners with little or no power.
I would get a few gallons of fresh fuel and mix the stuff you already have with it about 50-50, this will mean that you dont just loose the fuel youve got already and will revive it sufficiently to be useful.
