  • Getting back in

    Hi All
After a few years break, and with the eletric heli being more popular now I am going to bit the bullet and go fo it on a limited budget
I was ok at the hover and circuits last time round
The budget is £350 for full set up {outdoor}woul like to get 450/500 size
is there any views on the Art tec 500?
another one which has cropped up is the Rapier 450
or even the E Sky 450 belt carbon?
What one would be the better option?
or even what would you recommend within budget?

The BMFA Classified Ads Service / trex 450 pro

          add a gyro £50-£55 and a rx £35 and a dx6i £55-£65 and a few batterys £20-£30 could just about do it for £350....

The Dx6i in that link is a mode 1

But the vast majority of heli pilots use mode 2

If your making a complete new start and want to go with mode 2 (Which is a good idea)
Why not get a Dx6i and the Phoenix simulator to start with. Its gotta be the best and cheapest way of learning from scratch
