  • What battery and charger for t-Rex 600?

Hi, I did do a longer post but don't know where it's gone . Basically what I asked is can a bantam dc6 charger be used to charge up a zippy flightmax 500mah 6 cell battery swell as the external bed battery on the trex 600?

I haven't the slightest idea how to tell what charger can be used for what battery sorry.

I'm guessing you mean a 6S 5000mA battery. The BC6 can handle 1-6 cell lipos, so it will be able to charge this.

I have had a BC6 and a Trex 600 Elec. Using the BC6 it will charge the battery but not at full amps. You will find that the max it will put out is about 2.5 amps.

Might take a little longer, but at least you are not going to harm the battery with over charging with high ampage.

        Cheers,

        fred

Bantum BC6-10 I have used for 18months now on all my 5000mah 6s packs. However it needs a good seperate power supply but can be used in the field too. Another option I have (home based) Fusion Emperor pro charger again requires a seperate power supply but I can charge 2 x 5000mah 6s at a time. Although a little more expensive it doeas the job (all in about £300 with the power pack)
