Hi Thanks for the welcome, No I have not looked at the Trex 450 pro, but I will look into it :-)
I will do a search for the other's later.

But that does not answer my question to get the Trex 450se in kit form or to get pre built, that was the question?

yup, I would agree with kit form, it will teach you a lot.
I bought my 450SEV2 ready to fly, and whilst it got me up and running quickly, it did require a fair old strip down and rebuild, with loctite (most of it wasn't loctited, and it's an absolute necessity).

Keep in touch on here...we're a pretty friendly bunch.

Have you considered buying second hand? Have a look around on here or the BMFA website, you'll most likely find a good'un.

I have to agree now I think that I will learn a lot more about the workings of a Rc Heli by building it rather than just buying complete.

I have had a look on here for second hand but could not see any or was looking in the worng place?
I will check out the BMFA site thanks!

buying s/hand will almost certainly be built not a kit form.

in answer to your question about what is included check out the web and most stores will list whats included and whats needed ...like this

Have you any ideas on your budget? This may limit your choice.

Finances permitting, do go new and in kit form. What stuff do you have already? A transmitter? Or are you looking for a combination (combo) kit that will includes all the servos, gyro etc. plus a Tx and batteries?

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

You can watch the Finless Bob build vids on Helifreak too.

Trex 450 SE and general build videos are here - HeliFreak

Have a good trawl through those and the v2 build, plus all the other helpful vids there.

I would defo got for say a 450 sport or 450 pro kit, if this is your first CP heli then i would go for the sport, as the belt drive is more forgiving.
If you do go for the kit, i can offer advise on the build either over skype or phone, and i even offer a building service if required

                        Hi James,
I would be looking at the belt as I have heard that they are more forgiving.
I would like to thank you for the offer of help, I will prob/deff take you up on that when I deside to go for it. :-)

My main objective at this time is learning to fly it in circles I really need help with this and am hoping to get help from people close by if I can?
my msr is helping a lot :-O
