  • Advice on another heli

    hello folks
I have been thinking about getting a Blade 120sr, for practice and indoor flight as the winter approaches.

A mate up the road has a Twister CP gold with 2.4g receiver, no Tx and 2 batteries for £60.

Seems a good price to me, I realise I wont fly this in the house but I can use a local hall after band practice

    So question is which heli?
    Blade 130x

    Align Trex 500
    Gaui 550 Hurricane
    HK 600 GT
    DJI Phantom 3 Advanced
    Phoenix sim

I have a perfect record with helicopter flight...I have never left one up there!

                  Sr120

I would stay well clear of anything with a tail motor except of course the SR120. I fly mine both indoors and out and get good flight times. They are rock solid and can really take a battering. The twister breaks easily and will drive you insane. The 250 is obviously an awesome bit of kit but cannot be compared to the 120SR. Its fun, safe and can be flown around the front room without the risk of serious injury. And yeah use the 450. Parts are cheap and they fly like a dream.
