  • Saying hello

    Hello all,

I'm a total newbie to this sport/hobby, for 20years I've always liked the idea of having a go but never got round to it SO I've taken the plunge & just bought (today) an E-flite MSR to learn on.

I'm also gonna invest in Phoenix flight sim (will need a tx) as the MSR tx won't work I'm told.

This forum from what I've seen looks very informative, I'm so looking forward to dipping my toe in the water & progressing

    Cheers,
    Martin

      Hello Martin,

        Hi Martin

Welcome to the forum mate. I too am new to this hobby, but this brilliant forum is a wealth of information and advice.

I also have an MSR. It's a fantastic little heli. I took mine outside on Sunday (in very calm conditions with no wind), and it was a real hoot.

        Best Wishes

All new members are very welcome

The main thing about this hobby (apart from it's addictive nature) is that you just need to take your time, there is no race, so just go step by step and enjoy the ride! Something like the Phoenix simulator is a great thing to have as it will help you develop a lot and also save some cash on the way.

Tons of advice is available and no question is too daft, we've all been there and all of us are still learning from our mistakes.

This is a great hobby and you are gonna love it!

              Cheers,
              Simon

                    Welcome on board Martin

Well it sounds like your off to a good start with the mSR, and yes Phoenix is a great sim that'll help you a lot. Not just in the early learning stages but well into your heli flying.
Oh, and you'll find the mSR also flies a whole lot better with a decent radio like a DX6i or DX7 that you'll need for the sim.

                    Happy flying m8
