If the engine is hunting with the gov on. Turn the adjust screw on the Revlock all the way down anticlock wise.
    This should cure the hunting

        still wags

        hi guys

still getting a tail wag when i have revlock plugged in.

my engine is set 2 just over 1 1/2 turn and idle is on the lean side, see pic

as for base plate on engine(see pic) blue dot is warm could keep fingr on all day, at red dot, i can keep finger on for 5 second. whe you say back plate should be hot, should i go with the blue dot or red

tail dont wag when the revlock is not plugged in.

i'm loose it be at this tuning lark for weeks

            Revlock

Have you tried lowering the sense adjustment?

Sorry, response control screw,,, page 6 revlock manual,

If the revlocks causing the engine to hunt it could make the gyro wag the tail,,

In remote mode, which is using a switchable spare channel you use the endpoints or atv to give you the two speed options A/B on the revlock leds, you use the "adjust" control screw to alter the response speed in this mode,

In Manual mode (not connected to a spare channel for A/B speed options)you use the adjust screw to achieve the offset value,
ie thr stick at top turn the adjust screw up down to achieve engine rpm shown by leds = the one and only engine rpm available in that mode,
