  • Battery Connector

    Guys,

I'm new to RC helicopters, I had a blade MSR for about 8 months and I've recently bought a Belt CP V2 but I'm having trouble buying connectors to connect the battery to the speed controller. I bought a new battery with XT60 conectors which are not compatible with the connectos on the speed controller. I've attached photos of the connectors and I'd really appreciate it if somebody could tell me what the connectos are called so I can buy some to make up a lead to connect my new battery pack to my heli.

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

Can you see the pics if you click on them? I'm not sure how to include pics in my post.

They do show up if you click on them, however i have no idea what they are . LOL.

Can you not just cut the connector off the ESC and solder the other half of the XT60 to it???

Only 1 connection then, instead of 2.

Thanks for the replies, the HXT 3.5mm plugs are similar but the plugs on my heli are not completely round, they are sort of octagonal. I think I'll take Joe's advice and cut them off my speed controller/original battery and replace them with XT60's.

            Thanks,
            Steve

Do yourself a favour and put an XT60 on the ESC.

                +1 on the XT60's.

Much easier to solder and good fit.

                Cheapest (I think) available here

                Cheers,
