which tail servo?

Hi,looking for some quickfire answers as to which tail servo.Is the align 520 any good if so which align cyclic servos should I buy?.Its for a flasher 450 using the gyro that came with it Gt400.

Was looking to spend around £30

The 520 is what would normally come with the combo deal and works fine with the Align 750 gyro, not sure about your gyro though.
The cyclics are up to you 410's work well and are in the combo 450 but lot's of people don't like them, alternatively you could take a look at the Hitec HS65MG they work well and have a good reliability as far as I know, I'm using them on my Mini Titan and have been for over a year with no problems.

The 520 is a good tail servo, I use 3 of them, with Spartan, futaba and align gyro's.

My only complaint with them is the plastic cases are brittle and break easily in a crash or if you overtighten their fixings, but on the up side the replacement cases are fairly cheap and readily available.

Yes mate, the 520 is plenty good for the 450. Unfortunately, not much clue about your gyro. As a suggestion, it might just be worthwhile to consider putting better quality electronics on the models mate - they can ONLY help you. (But hey, ask around about the Gyro and if it suits your needs to have fun then - fire away mate!)

Cheers.The gyro was my worry too,might give wwr a phone to make sure.Will be upgrading the electronics over the next month or so(moneys a bit tight).Was going to upgrade the tail servo to see if that helps,been having a few problems getting the tail to hold,think it might be down to the cheap servos which came with the flasher.

DS520 had been fine for me, but went for the 9257.

The Quark is the gyro for me at the moment.
