and no bag of bits to put back together!
The 120 SR arrived early this morning from Sussex Helicopters along with 2 spare batteries.
I bought the BNF model as my friend round the corner has a spare tx after upgrading to the DX6i.
Anyway, after a couple of batteries battling with the thing as it drifted left across the floor I decided to give it a bit more power and up it went. Hovered about, flew towards me nose in and tail in, circled and.... managed to land it every time on its skids!
On one attempt I even managed to land it about 8 inches from my "helipad" a 1 foot square slab. Was dead chuffed with that one. The rest of the time I was landing all over the garden mostly out of control and panicking with a heart rate of about 300bpm.
Loving it. So pleased I managed to get it up and down in one piece.
