  • What a buzz my 1st ever hover

Well i got such a buzz today had my 1st hover ever with the 450 i just went for it no training gear just took it steady trimed it out and hovered my 1st batt such a great feeling was shaking for ages after.
Phoenix has helped so much as the real 450 felt so steady not like the sim at all which is so twitchy.
A big thank you to two friends called Dave & Jo for helping so much i just cant wait to get down the field to fly it outside now, come on those calm days i need you now.

Well done mate, many congratulations. I know exactly what you mean as I did exactly the same thing yesterday, first full battery where the heli has gone back in the box completely ready to fly again. No repairs major or minor required, just a battery re-charge and it's good to go. The missus video'd it for me thankfully. Gutted that it's really windy here today, drove round for ages trying to find shelter but no good

well done mate, its a great feeling isnt it!!!!

On phoenix, just wondering whether you fly the 450 on there, as I have a 450, but find the 450 on phoenix hard to see, and extremely twitchy, so I practice with a 600 which seems a lot closer to how the 450 flys, cheers

Yeah im flying the 450 on phoenix as thats what i will be flying it does gets a bit small real quick but thinking thats what it would be like in the real world, it is real twitchy in phoenix but did not realise that was the case till i took my real 450 up and found it was nice and steady.

Well i took my 450 outside today for my 2nd ever flight of a real heli you may notice that i have not used training gear and the only reason for that is i dont have any lol but dont think its right as i did notice the tracking was out a little and throttle and pitch curves are out as the head speed seemed to low so thats a job for tomorrow.
a vid of me flying as i cant work out how to embed it
