dx6i question

Hi,was wondering if someone can answer a question about the dx6i.

The question is I was thinking of buy a scale body(airwolf) with retracts would I have enough channels to operate the retracts on my dx6i?Or do I need a 7 channel radio?

Hi, it purely depends on what heli you are flying and how many channels you are currently using. You will definately need to have at least one "spare" channel.

the heli is a flasher450,I saw an airwolf canopy on fastlads was going to buy it next month

My mate did this and the only way we could do it was to not have remote gain on the gyro.

So we could use the gear channel for the retracts

Not waniting to sound stupid but does the gyro still work with no remote gain?Is remote gain the single wire that comes from the gyro?
