I run mine on 160mah Turnigys
I flew till the VLC hit, just once to see what the limit was.
    It ran for 6½mins.
To now I set the the timer for 5mins.
I suppose I could safely run to 5½mins but I decided on 5.

I run my E flight 150mA packs for 4 minutes, which gives them a good life expectancy with well over 100 flights on each pack now and still performing as new.

p.s. its well worth spending another £10.00 and getting the microheli MH-MSR002AC anti rotation kit from Midland Heli, which helps remove most of he slop in the flybar mechanism and vastly reduces the Toilet Bowl Effect.

Try messing with the rudder to elev mixing on the DX6i also to remove the interaction between the right servo (looking from the back) and the rudder. Helps to remove some strange effects when straightening up after a turn.

This eBook from Blade mSR Tips "Getting The Most Out Of Your Blade mSR" e-guide has a load of tips on different setups and ways to deprogram some of the built in mixes to get better performance once you're past the hovering stage.
It's not free but at $7.95(£5.13) it's cheap enough for what it is.

Well I forked out my $7.95 [or whatever it was], and having read through the booklet, have to state that there is some superb info in it regarding set up of the mSR with a DX6i and DX7. Have tried some of his recommendations and yes, they are good ones. Good value.

MSR is a fantastic little heli, I have mine blinged to the eyeballs, so much fun inside flying, can fly outside on a dead calm day, use mine with a DX7 can realy set for smooth flying, or twitchy as you like.
Realy helps with stick control for the bigger heli's.
Tried it with a body kit on but lost the nimbleness and excitment (looked good though) was a bit heavy
                Have fun
