Shuttle Plus2 setup

Advice please on the Shuttle setup.

Is the setup of the pitch first done mechanically by adjusting the pitch rods to a certain degree using a pitch gauge or is it all done in the Tx ?

Other small electric heli. i set up, i had to first set a mechanical pitch but the Shuttle manual is either vague about this or it's my age.

There does'nt appear to be much advice on the Web for Shuttles,please don't tell me I've bought a Betamax I've a sneaky feeling I should have got a Raptor.

Any advice greatfully received

You need to set zero degrees first.
Put the Pitch stick to middle position, and then adjust rods until you have zero on the heli. Then see what overall pitch you're getting (move stick up and down fully and check on the pitch guage).
If it's even top and bottom, cool... if it's more one side than the other, it needs levelling out by adjusting rods again.
