Twisting tail boom?

Have been hovering around for the past week But i noticed that the tail boom was twisting in the tail mount.I bent the tail boom yesterday so stripped it down to fix.When rebuilding I noticed that the recess that stops the tail boom twisting is not on the tail mount as per the manual but at the other end in the tail case.Could this be why its twisting and how can it be fixed.Its a flasher 450 and I quite like it but cant be having the tail twisting everytime I try to hover,I've tightened the screws as far as poss without snapping them,With no luck.

If I remember correctly this is a metal boom into a plastic mount.

If so,

1. Check the belt tension - it may be to tight.
2. Smear some CA (supaglue) around the metal then insert into the mount

You should still be able to 'snap' it off when required
