kds flymentor servos twitching

hi people i was wondering if anyone could help me ive setup flymentor and got all the servos moving as they should , but when i power up flymentor all my cyclic servos twitch . they do calm down but just keep twitching even when the heli has been still for a while . any solutions would be great .

Yep mine did something similar and just when I was trying to figure out why the swash suddenly tilted full left, then back to center.

I heard of someone else who saw the same thing but was unfortunate enough to have the blades spinning at the time.

Having said that a very minor movement in the servos is normal - by minor I mean you can hear the servos but can't really see a movement.

If its more than that put some black tape over the camera and re-test.

If the problem is still there after that take it to a local dealer / consider getting a swap on the unit.

Be safe - if in doubt take it off.

Or just take it off anyway.

Hi thanks for your reply the movement is very minor , they move about 1mm if that i just didnt know if it was normal. Ive taken it off once before because the tail wouldnt hold it kept drfting , but ive now rigged it all back up with the gp 780 on the tail , im going tomoz for a test flight wish me luck and thanks again

Hi Dan, I have been using flymentor for a couple of months and have found it very tricky to setup well. It is quite sensitve to vibrations from the heli. Yes mine continually makes minor servo movements.

What heli are you using it on?

im on a trex 500 , i took it out for the first time with flymentor and the vibrations were throwing the heli all over the place . ive setup the tracking and cant find the vibration problem .

Check your tail blades for balance. Flymentor needs well balanced blades particularly on the back

Hi, this is predatorx1x, im new to flying and new to this sight, i have raptor 50 se with gy611 gyro with 9256 tail servo, i am having setting problems with KDS FLYMENTOR.
The helicopter is set up well and hovers great. Once installed FM, THE CCP is locked on leaning backwards left ,the adjustment is too great to be adjusted on the programming software. Any help or advice would be most welcomed.

What is CCP?

Have you changed swash type on the tx so no mixing is used?

Any way i could be wrong. to go back to the problem, the swash plate is locked at rear-left.
There are no mixing on the Tx for the swash plate. every thing works fine with the FM removed. as soon as i re-wire FM and turn the power on the swash plate goes back to that tilt angle, to centralise the swash i need to adjust both stick ( to me it seems the aileron and pitch controls are the problem) Iam very reluctant to do any adjustment on the Tx, because it works fine with the FM. [at this point, i am now going to power up the Heli check again wait......yes at full throttle the swash is just about level please advise... regards to all pdx.

Hi, this is predatorx1x again.
I have sorted the tilting problem after exchanging with the yellow and orange wires. its all level now. the problem now is there is very little elevator movement on the tilt reaction and there is no aileron correction when tilting for ward or backward.
I have assigned to ONE SERVO NORMAL SWASH MIX on the FM software..
