What helis did you own on your previous attempts at the hobby?
How much do you expect to spend?
How big an heli do you want?
Do you want new or used?
There's a decent heli club in Grimsby, I don't have the details but they have members on this forum. You should seek it out.
Why would you want to fit an expensive scale body to a heli if you are learning?
You are probably not sending us the right vibes if you dismiss 3D so easily - we all "fly for pleasure" don't we?

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum m8

A 450 sized heli is probably the most popular size heli to get stated with and their is a number to choose from.
Among the the most popular is the T-rex 450 and the Blade 400.
But why not kill two birds with one stone and go for a Thunder Tiger Innovator MD530. Its a brilliant 450 sized electric heli that will ease you into and take you a long way along the road in this great hobby. Plus it comes as standard with a really nice looking Hughes scale body.

Heres mine and as the vid title says I love it

              Welcome aboard, Simon!

Just one question - why is every word capitalised?

Beleive Me Ive Tried The 3D thing and loops rolls then it came the inverted and shortly after that followed ££££ out of my back pocket. some people canrt afford to do the trial and error thing. why are these electric heli's so expensive compared to what you get from nitro heli 2nd hand off flebay
