what size hole?

Hi,can someone tell me what size holes to put in a canopy,I need to put holes in to attach it to the heli.Do I need to go out and spend £10 on a reamer or can i just use a dril?

Its a flasher 450

if its fibreglass canopy i just use the tip of a stanley knife blade and twist it around gently till it breaks through then again gently enlarge the hole by twizzling it around till the grommet is a good snug fit

Personally I'd use a Dremel (or similar) grinder like the ones pictured on the left below. If you do it any other way, you are in danger of introducing cracks on the perimeter of the hole which may spread with use.

I did it with a stanley knife seemed to work ok.Just waiting on radio now.
