At least you've been able to fly outside.I've rebuilt my cp gold three times and haven't even had it outside yet.total cost of spare so far £90 and all i've done is hover in my livingroom.Part of the fun for me is building them anyway and i'm determined i'll fly outside one day no matter what it costs.

      Rookie,

We from what I saw, I think you clearly have an ability to fly m8, so definitely don't give up! You are getting height, trying different manoeuvres and orientations - good for you

Crashing is just part of this hobby, helis are unforgiving critters. Its all about practice and getting to the stage where your reactions are instinctive. Learning the orientations is really important so that you are comfortable with them and this helps a lot when things go pear shaped.

Try more close in hovering on the spot along with side in (left and right) then nose in.

Do you have a sim like Phoenix? Really worth getting imho.

Get it re-built fella, I'm looking forward to seeing more vids!

      Cheers,
      Simon

        hey!

        do you have a sim?

Thta would realy help you out loads, like me i am a new flyer and have taken my training legs off and have crashed once , cost me best part of about 40.00 to get back in the air.

I would spend more time learning to hover about waist height, then once you can hover, try to softly touch land and take off ( this helps if you get the landing not quite right) then try to fly left and right of you with the heli at 90', to help twist your body the way the heli is going.

Its what i am doing and is helping me loads!

Then as everyone says practice practice and some more

Also just noticed the date on your video -

        ant

( lol the same really as whats just been said above lol )

            Poop!!!
It is understandably disheartening when this sort of thing happens But as others have said, you were doing really well till then
Spend some more time on the sim then go back and have another look at your heli. I bet things wont seem so bad after all
