Nice one. Don't push yourself too hard. Do you have training gear on?

        Well done m8
Just remember every one on here had a first time hover as well, and they all would of had that great feeling of achievement that you now have

Looks like a 450 size to me (correct me somebody if Im wrong).

Different companies (brands) define the size based on different perspectives mate - few of them use the blade lengths, few the motor/engine size.

Oh yeah... found this on the forum been dissused a while back... might just find it useful CLICK ME

A trex 450 training gear should do the trick mate

                  Gratz on yer 1st hover.

Twister CP Gold Size? I'd have said it was a 300/350 size going on main rotor diameter.

Classification of sizes is all over the place on helis.
                  Only semi-logical.
Supposedly based on either the cu in capacity of nitros or the motor can size on electrics.
Makes sense for nitros but gives very little idea of size for electrics.
Maybe one day they'll unify a sizing system based on power and rotor dia.

Blimey you've only just got into a hover and your spending plan is expanding already

I would stick to learning with what you've got for the moment, and then perhaps move on to a T Rex 450 which is a very adaptable heli that you can take down either the 3D or scale route

Well done m8- it's a great feeling- take it easy now- I tried to run before I could walk on my first CP heli and just ended up with a bag of bits that needed sticking back together again

Was just wondering if it would fit not planning on buying. Was going to buy the blade 400 from heli addicts just so as i had a decent heli/tx/rx.Dont really like the cp gold because all the servos are stuck together with tape.

I miss those old days of learning to hover , the amount of crap gear and helis i bought before i finally learned what was crap and what was good must have cost me over a £1000 but to be honest if it wasn't for the crap i wouldn't have got into helis in the 1st place. Those early days where the best, the intense learning curve and the sweat after a 30second hover makes me laugh now, the world is your's my son and anything is possible. Then, two years later you watch the 3d vids and realise that's impossible , knock yourself out dude but never forget the intense 1st year of the hobby .

Mate... again - take it slow. You've got a (agreed, not as good ) heli there with ya, but try to use it as an advantage rather than looking much on the faults. Use it to learn your moves... USE THAT HELI TO YOUR NEED mate.

A blade 400 is a good machine, but I think maintaining this CP (as a beater to learn hovering on) would be cheaper.

At the end of the day, its' all about the fun, remember
