    Can someone please tell me what the switches on my radio or for and which way they should be set ie forward or back?.I'm talking about the rudder,ail,ele switches.thanks.

        Do the switches have labels on? Did you get a manual with the heli? Might be a good place to start if you did.

          switches are labeled ail d/r,ele d/r rudder d/r manual doesnt tell you what they are for.

            My guess is, if they are marked rudder, aileron and elevator, they are most probably dual rate switches and will reduce the travel of each channels servos accordingly.

              d/r = dual rate

              Usually one position gives you 100% control surface travel and the other position gives you a reduced travel i.e. 70%

              This means you move your servos around less for the amount of stick movements you make and stops you overdoing it as you're learning to control your heli.
