but a futaba 7cap 2.4ghz set you get tranny and 4 servos (Futaba 3152's) and r/x battery and switch in the box.

    Fast-lads have it here:

    http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/futa...bo-p-3266.html

Gyro futaba 520 is 110 pounds, tail servo a 9254 or even a savox tail servo will save a few pennys.

    Gyro:

    Tail servo:

Starting gear needed, Starter, Starter wand, Glow Start, flight box, fuel, Spare glow plugs and hex driver set, fuel pump... spare fuel tubing...

I would adjust that budget slightly, you dont need to be spending that much on a gyro, something like the align 750 or a spartan quark can be had well within £150.

You should get a reasonable transmitter for £150, but I would put what you dont spend on the gyro from that 150 towards the transmitter, and go for the best you can get with that money instead of going for a transmitter in that original £150 price range.

The rest of the budget looks about right.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

        i've not tried a 502 or the 750 gyro
but the quark is a great gyro, i wouldn't buy another 611

and great advice on the tx, buy the best you can for your overall budget

if you do want to save a few pennies look for a used spartan, 401/502 gyro on the bmfa web site, or even fleabay
        Hirobo Turbulence D3
        a bunch of bls servo's and a 701 gyro
