Apologies in advance for all the questions ;-)
I am thinking of upgrading my Twister CP v2 to a T-Rex 450 but can't decide what version to go for. I would prefer to build the kit myself rather than get the new 450S which is ARF (but if you can convince me otherwise...)
I understand (I think) the physical differences between CDE (CCPM) and HDE, but I don't understand why Align bother to make the two different models in the first place.
Are there specific advantages of one over the other ?
Does the control method make a difference to the electronics required (eg different servos, radios etc) ?
Why should I get one, and not the other ?
I was thinking of getting the FF7 radio set to go with the model, but have heard stuff about Spektrum 2.4GHz radios being 'the next big thing'... no crystals, auto channel selection etc. Are they worth a look ?
Again, sorry for the questions... it was all so simple with my Twister - everything was included.
Cheers,
Daniel.
